Police Locate 3-Month-Old Puppy Stolen From Long Island Pet Store

The 3-month-old puppy was stolen from Selmer’s Pet Land in Huntington Station at about 12:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 6, the Suffolk County Police Department reported.

SCPD said the dog was found on Wednesday, Dec. 7, in Brooklyn and was returned to the pet store, located at 125 East Jericho Turnpike, that afternoon.

Police said the individual who stole the puppy has not been apprehended yet.

He was described by police as a white man who is about 5-foot-10 and was wearing a purple jacket and yarmulke.
